toneJ, hailing from the vibrant musical landscape of Chicago, is more than just a talented musician and singer—he's a visionary dedicated to the intersection of music, social justice, and healing. Given this, Tony holds a PhD in social work from Loyola University Chicago as well as a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from Indiana University.

As the founder of Creative Revolution, Tony has spent over 15 years making his mark in the professional entertainment industry. His focus on R&B soul music serves as a platform for his activism, where he channels the healing power of music to foster unity and revitalization within Black and Brown communities.

Tony's musical prowess is undeniable; a classic soul-trained baritone with an impressive falsetto range. Alongside managing the Creative Revolution Band, Tony collaborates with renowned Chicago artists such as Chéri Soul, JeradeTheDrummer, JahariTheHippie, DomoMoon to name a few, producing and writing songs that resonate with authenticity and purpose.

Tony has been on the local Chicago scene having opened for major acts like Amerie and RhymeFest at concerts and festivals. Through his music and activism, Tony Evans X continues to inspire positive change, amplifying voices and advocating for a more just and harmonious society.
